A full energy retrofit that delivered A1 comfort, higher efficiency and a smoother Christmas for Santa and Mrs Claus
Santa Claus has become the latest high-profile client to complete a full energy upgrade with SE Systems. As part of his preparations for the busiest time of the year, Santa approached our team to improve comfort in his family home and boost efficiency in the world-famous North Pole workshop.
The project involved a combination of domestic retrofit works for the Claus residence and targeted energy upgrades for the large-scale production facility where thousands of elves prepare for Christmas each year.
Why Santa Needed an Upgrade
Santa’s home had grown increasingly difficult to heat, with draughts, high energy use and an outdated system placing the building at an F BER rating. Meanwhile, the workshop was experiencing heat loss and ventilation issues that affected both energy consumption and elf productivity.
With Christmas deadlines approaching, Santa required a partner who could deliver meaningful improvements while keeping life at the North Pole running as usual.

The impact was immediate. The Claus home now enjoys A1 comfort with significantly reduced heating demand. The workshop has become a more stable and energy-efficient environment, supporting a 20% increase in productivity as elves work in better conditions.
Santa noted that Christmas preparations stayed completely on schedule, with no impact on production during installation.
