SE Systems Named Finalist in Cork Company of the Year Awards 2026

SE Systems is proud to announce that we have been named a Finalist in the Large Company Category of the Cork Company of the Year Awards 2026, organised by Cork Chamber.

This recognition comes at a significant moment for the business, as we celebrate 15 years of SE Systems, marking a journey that began in Cork and has grown into a national energy efficiency organisation delivering impact across Ireland.

Recognising growth, leadership and long-term impact

The Cork Company of the Year Awards celebrate businesses that demonstrate leadership, resilience and meaningful contribution to the regional and national economy. Being shortlisted in the Large Company category reflects not only the scale of SE Systems today, but the values and approach that have shaped our growth over the past 15 years.

SE Systems operates as a fully integrated One-Stop-Shop for energy upgrades, working across domestic, commercial, public and community sectors. Our work supports households, organisations and public bodies at every stage of their energy transition, ensuring that progress towards Ireland’s net-zero targets is inclusive and delivers real outcomes on the ground.

Leadership perspective

Commenting on the announcement, John O’Leary, CEO of SE Systems, said:

“Being named a finalist in the Cork Company of the Year Awards is a meaningful recognition for SE Systems. It reflects the dedication of our people, the trust of our partners, and our commitment to building a business that delivers long-term value for communities, clients and the wider economy. Cork has played a central role in our journey, and we’re proud to continue contributing to its business landscape.”

Youenn Lowry, Managing Director, added:

“This milestone reflects how far SE Systems has come over the last 15 years, and the standards we set for ourselves as we’ve grown. Our focus has always been on strong leadership, accountable delivery, and creating a positive impact across all the sectors we serve. To be recognised alongside so many strong businesses is something our entire team can be proud of.”

A milestone year for SE Systems

The finalist announcement aligns with SE Systems’ 15-year anniversary, a year focused on reflecting on progress while continuing to invest in the future. From our Cork roots to delivering complex energy programmes nationwide, our ambition remains clear: to support Ireland’s transition to a more sustainable, energy-efficient future, while ensuring no one is left behind.

We would like to sincerely thank Cork Chamber for this recognition and congratulate all fellow finalists on their achievements. It is a privilege to be shortlisted among businesses that are each contributing in unique ways to Cork’s continued growth and success.
