Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind Energy Upgrade Project

SE Systems partnered with Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind at their National Training Centre in Cork to deliver a full energy upgrade. Works included solar PV, heat pumps, LED lighting, insulation, BMS controls, and EV charging. The project cut gas use by 90 percent, saved 69,386 kWh annually, and improved comfort for dogs and clients.

Beaumont Boys School – Solar PV Case Study

Students at Beaumont Boys School in Cork monitor their Solar PV system’s energy production in the classroom, learning about sustainability and renewable energy.

With 42 Astronergy 18.69kWp system capacity and a Huawei smart inverter, the school now generates its own renewable electricity with advanced real-time monitoring. This cutting-edge technology not only maximises system performance but also allows students to track energy generation and environmental impact through an interactive dashboard.

Dunleer Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) was established in 2015 by a group of like-minded people who were looking to create sustainable energy awareness and deliver sustainable solutions into local homes.

Field of Dreams

The Field of Dreams is a three-acre horticultural site which was developed and built in 2017 to meet the ongoing learning needs of adults with Down syndrome across Cork City & County.
