All applications were reviewed and scored out of 100 points using our published scoring matrix with weighted criteria to prioritise environmental, social, and financial impact as well as project readiness and evidence of match funding.  

Unfortunately, due to the high number of applications received, we’re unable to provide individual feedback. However, please don’t be disheartened by this, as the quality of the applications was extremely high and the selection process was very competitive. We encourage you to review the eligibility and selection criteria before the next funding round.

No. The Fund supports a wide mix of organisations across Ireland from sports clubs and day care centres to arts, social, and environmental groups. Our goal is national reach and diversity of impact, rather than representation by category or county.

Grant amounts varied from €2,500 to €30,000 depending on project scale, energy-saving potential, and alignment with the fund objectives

Yes. We welcome repeat applications from eligible organisations, particularly if your project has been further developed or refined since your last submission.

Yes. Even if your project didn’t receive funding, SE Systems can provide technical advice, energy audits, partnership opportunities and grant facilitation through our Community Energy Grant Programme. You can contact our team to explore potential collaboration.

Yes. Upcoming funding rounds, training sessions, and community energy initiatives will be announced through our newsletter and social channels.
