Overview
We understand the pressure that the Agricultural sector is under to meet its Climate Action plan targets as well as battling rising business costs. SE Systems have worked with Co Ops and farmers to reduce their energy bills, CO2 and GHG emissions through energy saving projects such as LED lighting upgrades, heat pumps, energy metering, compressors, heat recovery and solar PV. Some of our previous clients include Carbery Group, Drinagh Co Op, Dairy Gold, and Dawn Pork Pig Farms.

Our experienced team can assist co-ops and farmers develop strategies to reduce your GHG emissions as well as reducing farms operating costs. We work with specialised contractors across the country who can execute the project. Grants available
The Agricultural Sector can avail up to 30% grant funding though the SEAI’s Community Grant Programme. You can apply for a single measure e.g. upgrading water heating to heat pumps or combine multiple energy upgrades together resulting in great savings. An energy audit will help determine what measures will bring you the biggest savings. We can manage this process for you.
Additionally funding is available through TAMS 3 for solar PV. The Solar Capital Investment Scheme encourages the purchase of solar investments thereby reducing dependence on fossil fuel energy.
Investing now in energy efficiency improvements will result in reduced GHG emissions while protecting against volatile energy costs.
