Overview
Energy demands are often a large operating cost for SMEs and businesses. SE Systems specialises in helping organisations to find solutions to reduce their energy consumption and carbon emissions through energy saving projects. We are also experts in procuring SEAI Grant funding for commercial projects nationwide, which helps businesses to reduce the initial capital cost investments for their energy efficiency upgrades.
SE Systems offer a full turnkey package solution from project design through to final handover. For larger clients or clients with numerous properties we also offer bespoke strategic planning towards multi-year decarbonisation opportunities. Energy bills analysis along with an energy audit would be the first step required to get an understanding of your energy needs in the building. This will also identify the most appropriate energy efficiency upgrade measures as well as estimated savings.

Measures supported
The following is a sample of energy upgrades eligible for grant aid.
- Building Fabric Upgrades (insulation, new windows, and doors)
- Technology and System Upgrades (Pumps, Motors and Drives)
- Integration of Control Systems (heating controls, time clocks)
- Renewable Energy Solutions (Heat pumps & PV panels & batteries)
- EV Charging Infrastructure
- Innovative energy solutions
Grants available
The SEAI’s Communities Energy Grant supports Businesses and SMEs with grant aid towards energy upgrade projects. These facilities can avail of up to 30% grant funding under this scheme. Solar PV is capped at up to 20%.
Since the launch of the Communities scheme in 2010, SE Systems have been working as a Project Coordinator providing a national service.SE Systems will guide you through the process from start to finish managing the complex elements of the grant application.
Accelerated Capital Allowance (ACA) is another funding source that can be utilised for businesses that are investing in energy efficient equipment.
