SE Systems offer One Stop Shop solutions, that specialises in managing and delivering deep retrofit residential projects from project design to project completion. We offer a full turnkey service to our clients which includes Local Authorities, Housing Associations, The SEAI, the Private & Rental Sector and Homeowners. We are a national leader in the residential retrofitting industry having improved the energy efficiency in over 12,000 residential properties demonstrating how we are at the forefront of delivering Ireland’s 2030 Climate Action plan retrofitting targets.

SE Systems are a trusted deep retrofit partner. We are an SEAI registered contractor under the Better Energy Homes Since 2011, the Fully Funded Home Energy Upgrade Scheme since 2014 and the Communities Energy Grant program since 2012, and we are recognised as delivering the largest output across these schemes nationally. We are a procured contractor on multiple national schemes as well as being a procured contractor to all Local Authorities in the country.

Energy Upgrade Solutions

Each residential property has unique needs. SE Systems prides ourselves on developing bespoke retrofit strategies to meet our client’s requirements that deliver a warm, healthy and low energy home. We offer our clients support from project design through to project completion which includes design, project management, deep retrofit works, funding solutions, and grant management. We also offer full health and safety management including PSDP and PSCS responsibilities where applicable.

Measures Supported

When carrying out a deep retrofit we take a holistic approach to the property upgrading several energy measures together to achieve a BER (Building Energy Rating) of between a B2 and A1 after works are complete. The type of measures included are:

External wall insulation, cavity, and internal wall insulation.
Attic insulation
Floor insulation
Heating system upgrade, usually a heat pump to replace oil or gas.
Solar PV solar panels for electricity & batteries.
Window and door replacement.
Demand Control Ventilation or Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery.

Grants Available

There are several grants available for residential projects through the SEAI such as the Communities Grant Program, One Stop Shop the Fully Funded Energy Upgrade Scheme, (formerly Warmer Homes Scheme) and the Individual Energy Upgrades grants (formerly Better Energy Homes Scheme). As leaders in the grants space, our team are on hand to advise you on the most suitable funding program for your project.
